I can perform religious ceremonies with language specific to any particular denomination (e.g. Baptist, United Methodist, Presbyterian, etc.), non-denominational (includes prayers, blessings, etc. but with more general language), spiritual (no direct mention of a specific deity), secular or civil (no mention of anything religious) and interfaith ceremonies. For certain interfaith ceremonies you may wish to check with your personal minister, rabbi or priest to ensure that your faith tradition will recognize the wedding.

I do not require couples to participate in pre-marital counseling but I can provide it upon request. I do ask all of my couples to meet with me face-to-face at least once (currently using Zoom due to COVID) so that I can get to know them and learn about them as a couple.

Once we have verbally confirmed the date and time of your ceremony you are on my calendar and I consider this a confirmed date. At that point I will send you a simple contract. You return the signed contract along with a nonrefundable retainer fee.

Fees for fully personalized ceremonies range from $650 to $950. Contact me to inquire about fees for elopements and micro weddings. The length of a ceremony or the size of the wedding party is no indication of the time required to create it. In addition to our initial meeting there is writing, reviewing, editing and travel time. I will always arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and I allocate an hour for the ceremony. My basic fee includes at least one face-to-face meeting followed by unlimited (yes, unlimited!) telephone and email correspondence. I will work tirelessly until we get exactly the ceremony that you're looking for. Once you sign your contract you have access to my knowledge and expertise with regard to all aspects of your wedding day and I will closely coordinate with all of your vendors (especially your coordinator, photographer and DJ or musicians) to ensure that everyone is functioning as a team on your behalf. I strongly prefer to attend your rehearsal (at no extra charge) in order to make everyone comfortable on the day of the wedding and I'm glad to function as the wedding director during the rehearsal. I also handle all of the legal paperwork (after you obtain your marriage license) including having witnesses to sign the license, filling out the forms, filing the license with the Register of Deeds office and providing you with copies of everything.
